The Great Tour #12 - Ho Chi Minh City

After spending a few days in Bao Loc, Dalat and Mui Ne, the Great Tour continues down south, that is, to the largest city in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City! We spent our day in many interesting places like the visit to the General Post Office. We were thrilled to see a man balancing a large tray of goodies on his head! Not far from there was the former CIA Headquarters where we saw the spot of the evacuation of the people before the fall of Saigon. We went to the riverbank and saw the contrast between the poor stilt houses and the rich high-rise apartments and office buildings.  The experience of the city is not complete without the adventurous trishaw ride amidst the busy traffic!
