Away from the City

Where can you go outside Ho Chi Minh City? Well, I highly recommend a day trip to Cai Be in Mekong Delta. Let us go away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the serene and greenery of Cai Be. After a nice drive from the city, we arrived at our destination. We took a boat ride and saw the people moving about in their boats. Some were fishing and others were doing business. On a sunny day what was more refreshing then savoring sweet and delicious tropical fruits! Then, on shore we visited a house where rice papers were made. We too learnt how to make these rice papers. We also took a canoe ride and visited a nearby village. It was great walking through the narrow laneway surrounded on both sides by various fruit trees. At the end of the day, we had a great time away from the city.
