Located about 60 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City center, Can Gio Biosphere Reserve, also known as Vam Sat or Can Gio Monkey Island, is a must-visit destination for all tourists coming to Ho Chi Minh City. This area is divided by a network of canals and rivers. Not only is Can Gio Island a place of interest, but it is also the stopover for many scientists and nature lovers around the world to study the biodiversity of the flora and fauna system there. PICK-UP POINT
Pick up at 8.00 am at your hotel in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. The tour guide and driver will greet you with a sign showing your full name and a warm smile.

ITINERARY

• After 1.5 hour’s drive from downtown Ho Chi Minh City, we will reach Dan Xay reception station, where you will travel by a private canoe to enjoy the landscape along a picturesque river, the typical flora of Vam Sat mangrove forest and other types of fishing of Can Gio fishermen.
• Our next stop is a special reserved area of the bat where we take a little sampan cruise into the lush and green swampland, where thousands of bats and birds are nesting.
• We continue to visit Vam Sat Tourist Site with the following several activities:

1. Hoa Ca Crocodile Reserve. Here you will learn about the process of hatching alligators, especially participating in the thrilling game “Crocodile Fishing Yacht.”
2. Continue to conquer the 26m-high Tang Bong Tower to admire the beautiful panorama of the Mangrove Biosphere Reserve from the sky.
3. You can then walk along the forest roads, challenge the suspension bridge, visit the friendly and peaceful forest deer.
4. The sanctuary of birds is a must-see site in this area where we can see and learn about several types of local birds, many of them are listed in world red books.

• After delicious lunch at a local restaurant in the mangrove forest, we return to our van on a lovely canoe ride on the Vam Sat River, where you can catch a glimpse of local fishermen’s livelihood.
• Return to your hotel and end the tour full of beautiful memories.
