Cu Chi Tunnels and War Remnant Museum Shore Excursion
TOUR OVERVIEW
Cu Chi Tunnels are part of a massive and elaborate tunnel system used during the Vietnam War. This place offered a reliable stronghold for Viet Cong soldiers during the wars against the French, mainly US soldiers. It comprises over 200km of underground tunnels with booby traps, trapdoors, living areas, kitchens, storage facilities, hospitals, and command centers. By walking and crawling through the tunnels, you will get a sense of the world of guerrilla warfare in the incredible Cu Chi tunnels and gain insight into the tenacity and bravery of the soldiers. Our trip will include visiting the war remnant museum, where several war-related exhibitions are well displayed. PICK-UP POINT At Phu My or Hiep Phuoc port gates, a 3-hour and 2-hour drive to the Cu Chi tunnels, respectively. If you arrive at Nha Rong port, it's around 90 minutes' drive to the tunnels. The tour guide and driver will greet you with a sign of your full name and a warm smile and take you for a brilliant day. ITINERARY Drive to the Cu Chi tunnel, where we need to walk around 2km to explore the tunnel systems (mainly on the surface): 1. We will spend around 10 minutes watching a documentary. 2. We will also learn how the VC soldiers constructed and used the underground tunnels, booby traps, termite mounds, trenches, etc. 3. We will walk a short distance from the original tunnels. 4. we can visit the shooting range at an extra cost if you are interested. 5. Have a tea break and answer your questions about the tunnel. Drive back to downtown Ho Chi Minh City for lunch and visit one of the most famous museums, the War Remnant Museum, before returning to the port. WHAT ARE INCLUDED
